How to Read a Book in 30 Minutes

If you’re like me, you would like to read more, but you find it hard to set aside time to read a 200-300 page book. There are a number of books each year that I would like to read so I have had to learn a technique to glean the key points while bypassing the fluff that so many books contain. In the video below, I share my process for how I read through a book in 30 minutes and still get the main points.

  1. Great tips Jason. Love the information and the way you are using technology. I would be interested in developing a recommeded book list, access to summaries (and power point presentations maybe). I am also looking for a list of assessment tools if anyone out there has a collection they would like to share. Free ones with substance are particularly helpful! Thanks for the information.

    1. Hi Stephany, as a start you can find a list of recommended book that I created on my resource page. I also have post with a list of assessments I recommend (see link below), but I would be interested in the ideas of others as well.
